Town hosts Green Building Summit

The Town of Oakville will host the Green Building Summit on December 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Town Hall.

The summit will provide the public with an opportunity to listen to speakers and visit with vendors from the green building industry, including alternative energy professionals, green developers and green roof specialists.

“We’ve made great strides in making Oakville the most livable town in Canada especially when it comes to preserving and enhancing our environment,” Mayor Rob Burton said. “This Green Building Summit is an excellent opportunity for Oakville residents, businesses and community groups to learn new ways in which each of us can make a difference when it comes to our environment.”
