Ontario PC Leadership Race: Meet Monte McNaughton

This May, the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party (PC) will elect their new leader. At the time of writing, there are three candidates in the race: Christine Elliott, Patrick Brown and Monte McNaughton. This week we are profiling MPP Monte McNaughton.

Mr. McNaughton was first elected to the Ontario Legislature in 2011.  During his two terms as MPP, he has held a number of critic portfolios including: economic development and innovation; labour; and citizenship, immigration and international trade.

Before his election to Queen’s Park, Mr. McNaugton served three terms as Newbury councillor. He also worked for his family business.

OREA wishes Mr. McNaughton the best of luck in his leadership campaign. To learn more please visit: www.monte.ca.
